# DeepCast CEO Contributes with the Unconventional Resource Literature

Our CEO and Rice University Adjunct Professor, Hector Klie, in collaboration with Jose A. Torres, Researcher at the University of Pau, France, published a selected collection of papers supporting the flow transport, chemistry, and geomechanics associated with the extraction of oil and gas in shale resources. This publication has the editorial and distribution support of Energies, MDPI.

This new book is intended to cover multiple issues that are not fully understood in shale oil and gas. With this contribution, Dr. Klie and Dr. Torres hope to motivate the audience to execute further R&D efforts to improve modeling and recovery of unconventional resources.
